Home / Story Into Sound
Your words. Finished properly.
A childhood memory. A phase of life you came through. A tribute to someone. Lyrics you wrote and never recorded. Bring the words — polished or not — and they come back as a finished piece of music.
How it works
Four steps, and one of them is yours.
You send the brief
The words themselves, or the story told plainly. Who or what it is about, the feeling you want it to carry, the occasion, and when you need it. Nothing needs to be tidy.
We agree the shape
Format (a spoken-word piece over a soundscape bed, or a fully composed song with vocals), length, tone, and licence. Scope, price and delivery date are confirmed in writing before work starts.
It gets made
Refined, arranged, produced and finished with the same care the catalogue gets. You hear a draft and get one round of direction before the final.
You receive it
Mastered audio, artwork if you want it, and a written record of how it was made and exactly what rights you hold.
Formats
Two ways your words can be set.
Priced by complexity — the writing, arrangement and personalisation involved, not the running time.
Spoken word over a soundscape
Your words, read aloud — by you or by a voice we agree on — set over a bed built to sit underneath them. The most direct route from a story to something you can play to someone.
A fully composed song
Lyrics developed into a structured piece with vocals, arrangement and production. More writing, more iteration, more of your input — and meaningfully more involved to make.
Tiers are priced individually against the brief, because the difference between a three-minute spoken piece and a fully written song is genuine. You get a fixed quote in writing before anything begins — never an open meter.
Before you send
Two things worth knowing.
The words have to be yours to give. Your own life story is yours. A poem someone else wrote is not, and neither are song lyrics you love but did not write. The brief form asks you to confirm this, and it is the one thing that cannot be worked around — it protects you as much as me.
Production is AI-assisted, and that is disclosed. Generation is a tool in the studio; the direction, refinement, arrangement and finishing are human. Your contribution — the words — is recorded in the rights ledger as your material, and your licence terms are written down and handed over with the file.
The brief
Tell me the story.
Take as much room as you need. The more of the feeling you can put into words here, the closer the first draft will land.
